As greenhouse farmers' profit margins shrink due to cheap overseas competition, and citizens in first-world countries shy away from harvesting labor, both Swedish producers and previously dominant market players face increasing challenges. YIELD Robotics aims to address this issue by developing cost-efficient autonomous harvesting systems, focusing primarily on easy-to-harvest, high-demand crops such as tomatoes and cucumbers. The company is currently working on a minimum viable product tailored to farmers' needs, in close collaboration with industry stakeholders.
